Anorexia Nervosa

Anorexia Nervosa is a psychological disorder that can be seen especially in young women, eating less, sleeping a little, but being very active.This disease usually starts in adolescence, rarely in adulthood. It can be tried very generally, that an overweight attitude can occur in every individual.It is often seen in families with high socioeconomic status. Fear of obesity is a cause among young girls because of their temperament, developmental problems, and psychological factors. Dysfunctions are caused by excessive eating such as vomiting, disgust, eating or eating again.This usually starts with a regimen of exaggerated belief that the person is too fat, the appetite that can be controlled before disappears after a while, and the attenuation exceeds normal measures. 'Anorexia Nervosa', an eating disorder syndrome called period disease, is now seen not only in young girls but also in men. There is a life threatening danger in these health conditions that are difficult to treat.

Body weights decrease over time because they consume a very low calorie diet. Usually starting in adolescence, the average age is 17 but rarely over 40.
Anorexia can also be seen in people with intense psychological problems. Dieting is a very problematic life even in people who do not have the obligation to lose weight. Those who suffer from familial, school, work, or emotional issues refuse to eat, if forced to eat. As a result, losing too much weight in the short vault is a matter of fact and it has all the effects of this disease. With the resolution of the problems, the eating problems also cease to exist; But they may experience serious and persistent physiological problems during this phase.
Eating disorders are also common in vegetarians, athletes and those with chronic, chronic illness. Hereditary factors, growth characteristics, cultural and biological characteristics are important contributors to improving eating habits.Eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia, known as weaknesses, can permanently damage the brain and cause weight loss, decrease in brain mass, and changes in chemical reactions in the brain
Diagnostic criteria:- The person does not accept normal weight- Extreme fear from weight loss and fatness- Body disorder is observed- At least 3 months of absence of menstruation
