In our gastroenterology department, experts who have the required certifications have being given service. Endoscopic applications have being performed in the Advanced Endoscopic Diagnosis and Treatment Centre (GL Centre) within the body of our hospital.

Service Areas

Unless the patient requires otherwise, all endoscopic applications have being performed under “sedation” under the observance of an anaesthetist. Liver biopsies have being performed in the daytime treatment unit.

The Diagnosis and Treatment of Diseases

Diagnosis and treatment for digestive system diseases:

Stomach ache, nausea, reflux disease, deglutition disorders, gastritis, dyspepsia, peptic ulcer, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, haemorrhoids and anal fissure, Coeliac disease, tumors in the oesophagus, stomach, small and large intestines.

Diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases:

fatty liver syndrome, alcoholic liver disease, viral and metabolic hepatitis, cyst hydatid and other cystic diseases, bile tract gallstones, cholecystitis, cholangitis, liver and bile tract tumors.

Pancreas diseases:

Acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreas cysts and cancers

Inflammatory Intestine Diseases:

Ulcerative colitis, Crohn disease

Surgery – Processes and Interventions

Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, bile tracts and pancreas endoscopy, food tube (PEG) installation, liver biopsy urea – breathing test.

Endoscopic treatment of gastrointestinal system bleeding: sclerotherapy, enoklip, endoloop, band ligation, argon plasma, coagulation, treatment of polypes with the endoscopic method, band ligation of haemorrhoids with the endoscopic method, treatment of the lower end of oesophagus with balloon.
