Ahmet Oktay

Prof. Ahmet Oktay M.D., was born in 1953 in Ankara. He graduated from the TED Ankara College in 1970, and from the Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1976. He completed the internal medicine residency program at the Hacettepe University in 1980. He also completed the cardiology fellowship program at the Hacettepe University in 1986. He became associate professor in 1985, and professor in 1991. He worked at the Marmara University School of Medicine between the years 1986 - 2007. He acted as the Head of the Department of Cardiology at the Marmara University School of Medicine until 2007. Prof. Ahmet Oktay M.D. has been working fulltime at the American Hospital Department of Cardiolgy since August 2007.
