Dr. Ali Al Suwaidi completed his graduation (M.B.B.Ch) at the School of Medicine - Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. He then subsequently became a fellow of the following institutions:• Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (FRCSI) • Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Canada (FRCSC) • Clinical Fellowship in Arthroscopic and Sports Surgery (University of Ottawa, Canada) • Clinical Fellowship in Upper Extremity Surgery (University of British Colombia, Canada)Dr. Ali then acquired his Masters in Leadership & Health Policies from the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA, and a PhD in Leadership and Health Policies at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA. Dr. Ali Al Suwaidi practiced at a government referral hospital in Abu Dhabi since 2006, where he was instrumental in establishing and setting up a Shoulder and Upper Extremity wing at the hospital.Dr. Ali Al Suwaidi specializes in dealing with complex cases of shoulder reconstructive surgery, shoulder arthroplasty including reverse prosthesis and cuff tear, arthroscopic joint procedures, complex upper extremity fractures and knee ligament surgery.Member of: Scientific Community for Orthopedic Surgery for the Arab Board, American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, International Society of Arthroscopy and is also the Vice President of the Emirates Orthopedic Society. Dr. Ali Al Suwaidi has a keen interest in research and has published a number of papers in peer reviewed journals along with being a co-author for a book on Practical Orthopedic Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy.
