Mohamed M. Aboyoussef

Dr. Mohamed M. Aboyoussef received his medical degree (M.B.B.Ch) from the Ain Shams University, School of Medicine, Egypt in 1994. He completed his Certificate course from the Educational Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates, US in 1996. He became a Certified Clinical Densitometrist from the International Society of Clinical Densitometry, US in 2006. He completed his certification in Rheumatology from the American Board of Rheumatology in 2004 and recertified in 2014.Post completion of his internship, in 2000, Dr. Mohamed was appointed as the Chief resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburg Medical Centre, US. In 2001, he was awarded a Fellowship in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the same hospital.Dr. Mohamed has also held faculty positions at the University of Hawaii, US where in 2006 he was the Clinical Assistant Professor of the Internal Medicine Department and in 2013 he was the Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.Dr. Mohamed has more than 15 years of experience in his field spanning US and the Middle East. His special interests include Rheumatology diseases as well as Bone health and Prevention of Fractures. He is active in teaching and has a number of publications to his credit. Dr. Mohamed has a strong industry interface and has affiliations with The International Society for Clinical Densitometry, the American College of Rheumatology and the Egyptian Medical Association.
