Kayhan Yakın

Dr. Yakın was born in 1969 in Ankara. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. After his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, he worked in Ankara Sevgi Hospital, Assisted Reproduction and Genetics Unit. He moved to Istanbul in 2000 and participated in the foundation of Istanbul Memorial Hospital Assisted Reproduction Unit. Since 2002, he has been working in Assisted Reproduction Unit of the American Hospital of Istanbul. His major areas of interest are clinically assisted reproduction, reproductive genetics and endoscopic surgery. He has published extensively in these fields, having over 50 articles and book chapters published in renowned international journals.
