Özden Özyemişçi Taşkıran

Born in 1976 in Balıkesir. After graduating from Bursa AOS Science High School in 1994, she graduated from Hacettepe University, School of Medicine in 2000. She finished residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department in Gazi University, School of Medicine in 2005. She worked in a special hospital between 2005 and 2007. She worked as a faculty member in Gazi University, School of Medicine between 2007 and 2014. She received Associate Professor degree in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in June 2012. She is currently working as a physiatrist at Koç University Hospital and also as a faculty member at Koç University School of Medicine since October 2014. Her main interest areas are spine disorders, manual medicine and cardiac rehabilitation. She carries out research on spine kinesiology and aerobic exercise in chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus and obesity.
