She completed her primary, secondary, high school and university education in Sivas. Having completed the Medicine Faculty of Cumhuriyet University as the highest ranked student in 1987 and completed her obligatory service, she started at Internal Diseases Department of Cumhuriyet University as an associate by passing the examination for specialty in medicine. She established the Chronic Renal Patients Foundation in Sivas in 1989 and maintained the presidency until she left the city. She became an Internal Medicine specialist in 1993 and took the examination for specialty in medicine and started her specialization at Turkey Specialization Hospital Cardiology Clinic on Cardiology. Having completed her specialization in 1995, she started to serve as a specialist at SSK Dış Kapı Training and Research Hospital. She transferred to SSK Specialization Hospital in the same year and actively participated in the establishment of the unit of Cardiology as a unit administrator. She became an assistant professor on Cardiology in 2003. She received English speaking course at a school in England in 2006. She started to serve at the Cardiology Department of Bolu İzzet Baysal University (AİBÜ) Medicine Faculty in February 2008.
