Interest in health tourism and thermal tourism in Russia continues to increase rapidly. According to the report of the Russian Tour Operators Association based on the report "Global Wellness Institute", interest in medical tours in Russia increased by 30 percent.

Russia ranks fifth in the world in this order. The first four countries are Austria (85 percent), China (60 percent), Brazil (46 percent) and Indonesia (40 percent).

Countries such as Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain, France, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria are among the most preferred places for Russian citizens to have their "wellness" tours abroad.

Kislovodsk, Yessentuki, Pyatigorsk and the Caucasus regions famous for their healing waters, Belarus recently attracted interest among Russian citizens.

The Global Wellness Institute estimates that the "wellness" tourism market will grow by 14 percent over the next two years to $ 563 billion, and that by 2020, this figure will reach $ 808 billion.
