This department deals with the internal diseases of the esophagus, large intestine, intestine, liver, gallbladder, bile duct, pancreas and abdominal membrane.
 In this section the following diseases are diagnosed and treated: gastroesophageal reflux disease, esophageal cancer, gastric hernia, ulcers, gastritis, gastric cancer, gastrointestinal absorption disorders (eg gastrointestinal disease), colitis (irritable bowel syndrome) and inflammatory diseases Intestinal cancer, colorectal cancer, bowel cancer, hemorrhoids and liver diseases such as jaundice (hepatitis B and C), cirrhosis of the liver and gallstones, gallbladder disease, pancreatic diseases, etc.
Gastroscopy, duodenum, intestine and colonoscopy are commonly used in gastrointestinal endoscopy.
