Electrocardiography (ECG): Electrocardiography is a test that examines cardiac muscle and neural transmission system. Electrical activity of the heart is recorded using electrodes placed on the skin. ECG assists to diagnose many cardiac diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cardiac muscle diseases and cardiac arrhythmia.
EFFORT (Treadmill) Test: Effort test is a commonly used test to examine cardiovascular disease, determine the efficiency of treatment for cardiovascular disease, diagnose cardiac arrhythmia and examine effort capacity of patients in some cardiac disease cases. Effort test provides convenience in the early diagnosis and identification of cardiac diseases. Two effort test devices are located in our cardiac center.
Echocardiography: 4D and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography: Vivid E9 Echocardiography Device which is located in our cardiac center commonly used around the world to perform detailed evaluations about cardiac valves and blood flow with 3D and 4D heart imaging and doppler methods.
Transesophageal Echocardiography: It is an endoscopic examination. Cardiac cavities and cardiac valves are examined in detail by placing a probe into the patient’s esophagus and reaching to posterior positioned areas of the heart in suspicious cases. Again, TEE can be peformed by the special kit of Vivid E9 Echocardiography Device. 3D and 4D images of cardiac valves and cardiac cavities can be obtained in case of need.
Holter:
ECG Holter; is a portable device. It has wires and electrodes (soft plastic 3-4 cm sized sticky material) that attach to your skin. Holter monitor records your ecg as you go about your daily activities. After the test period, the results are analysed by a computer. By the way of Holter monitor, palpitations, chest pains, blackout and cardiac arrhythmias are able to determine that could not be observed during physician examination. We have five Holter Device in our cardiac center.
Holter Blood Pressure Monitor;
Holter Blood Pressure Monitor is a test that records blood pressure automatically in every 15-20 min continuously for 24-hours. 24-hours blood pressure follow-up of patient’s can be provided by the way of this method especially for the cases of new diagnosed hypertension and untreatable with medication.
Tilt Table Test: Tilt Table Test is oftenly used in diagnosis of faint (syncope) situations. The test is performed in a polyclinic, you lie on a table that is slowly tilted upward. The test measures your blood pressure and heart rates periodically and the reason of faint is examined.

Interventional Procedures - Angiography Unit:
Coronary Angiography; GE Innova 3100 device, one of the newest device is used for the evaluation of cardiac veins and balloon or stent is applied in case of severe stenosis.
Pacemaker Implantation; Insertion of several pacemakers such as KPM, ICD, CRT is also performed in angiography unit with the same devices. Medtronic Pacemaker inserted patients are controlled in cardiac center by the cardiology specialists.
Besides, imaging of renal, neck and leg veins, intervention of severe stenosis cases with balloon/stent techniques are the diagnosis and treatment methods which also performed in our angiography unit.
Renal Denarvation; procedure is used for patient group to treat resistant hypertension (not controlled even though received a treatment with medication).
TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation); TAVI is a non-surgically procedure to replace narrowed aortic valve by passing the catheter into your heart from groin.
Mitraclip; This procedure is aimed at the treatment of mitral valve located between left auricle and left ventricle for the high-risk group of patients. In the situation of leaky heart valve, a clip is placed to the valve by the help of catheter just as angiography. The procedure takes two or two and half hours, the patients can able to return their daily activities in a short time.
EPS/Ablation; Electrophysiology Study (EPS) is performed for the diagnosis of patients who complain of faint or palpitation, cardiac arrhythmias. The non-surgically ablation method is used to treat types of arrhythmia by entering from groin. The cutting-edge technology is used in our angiography units for diagnosis and treatment of all types of arrhythmia.
ILR (Implantable Loop Recorder); An implantable loop recorder allows long-term heart rhythm monitoring by way of a small ILR device inserted beneath the skin of the chest with 1-2 cm incision for the patients who complain of faint and palpitation attacks. Many arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment can be provided with this method.
ASD/VSD/PDA Device Closure; ASD/VSD/PDA are birth defects of the heart. Now, non-surgically procedures are performed to close such defects by using a material similar to a stopper without requiring major open heart surgery.
