What is P.R.P.?

"Platelet rich plasma" is abbreviated name of plasma application enriched with regard platelet (thrombosis).

This is the operation of separating of a small amount of blood obtained from a person through a centrifuge and giving back of obtained " plasma enriched with regard platelet" to the same person by injection for the purpose of supporting skin set-up and skin rejuvenation.

Platelet rich plasma (P. R.P) induces stem cells on the areas where they are injected in the body and is a method assisting renewing of tissues by activating.

What is the purpose in P.R.P. Method?

The role of platelets (thrombosis cells) providing regeneration of them by ensuring blood clotting is to provide tissue regeneration in case of any damage forming in the body. The purpose in the Platelet rich plasma (P. R.P) system; is to provide platelets obtained by being undergone a separating process and growing factors to access further to the required area.

By this means, platelet rich plasma method being effective in the stimulation of forming of collagen production is the primary of the most effective method in provision of speed regeneration of each area of our body i.e. hair, face, body in rejuvenation of the skin.

P.R.P. Implementation

An amount of blood obtained from the person is undergone process of centrifuge and platelets are provided to be separated. Separated platelets have 10 times much more intensive than normal platelets. Obtained platelets (thrombosis cells) are injected to the area to be treated. Platelets provide growing factors on the skin to remain released. Growing factors show effect in removing of skin problems such as wrinkles- acnes and regeneration of the skin, in skin regeneration by increasing collagen and hyaluronic acid production.

Operation time of Platelet rich plasma (P. R.P) is at the most half an hour and is applied with mesotherapy technique.

Area of P.R.P. Implementation

P.R.P Implementation can be used with safety in the following issues and purposes;

·         In the construction of the whole skin,

·         To obtain a shiny and healthy appearance,

·         In hair transplantation or hair problems, in face, neck, décolleté, legs, hands and arms aesthetic treatment,

·         To eliminate wrinkles formed, loss of elasticity,

·         To support improvement of crack scars, wounds, occurred, hyperpigmentation, decrease of collagen,

·         Flattening on the dermal-epidermal junction point, atypical epidermal cell, photochemical effects of solar radiation, and

·         To help to construct skin after implementation of laser or chemical peeling, in order to help armpit or breast sagging to be recovered.

P.R.P. Implementation Sessions

For P.R.P application sessions, recommended is; 3 or 4 sessions. Session implementations are made with every 15 days.

After the first implementation, enlightenment and clearness is realized immediately on the skin. Set-up and renovation process is started to be seen effectively after implemented sessions.

In order to provide durability of set-up regeneration emerged after applied sessions, maintenance sessions are recommended as 1or 2 sessions in a year.

P.R.P. method applied with safety without pain and severe pain is an effective form of treatment for all skin problems.

What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy means medium skin treatment as word. Basic of mesotherapy is being completely a medical operation depending on local injection of medicines at very small amounts by using very fine needles at the length of 4-6 mm to the area to be treated. Mesotherapy constitutes a prominent treatment method for the cases of lipodystrophy or cellulitis, which are frequently requested for a long time in aesthetic medicine.

Mesotherapy drugs, a variety of drug mixture depending on indication are injected subcutaneously within a period of 5-10 minutes.

Mesothreapy is used in following fields related to aesthetic;

·         Cellulitis

·         Atrichiosis

·         Cracks occurred in adolescence and pregnancy

·         Facial rejuvenation

·         Scars, (cicatrixs)

Mesotherapy is frequently used in the fields which are out of aesthetic such as the rheumatology, circulation problems (varicose, varicose ulcers), migraine, and sports medicine.

Internal of mesotherapy sessions must be minimum 1 week. The drug injected in one session should not exceed 10 cc. Side effects occurring in mesotheraphy are generally occurred if the internal of sessions and dosage of drug are not paid attention.

Situations which mesothreaphy should not be applied are;

·         Heart failure

·         Diabetes (diabetes)

·         Kidney disorders

·         Patients under anticoagulant therapy

Mesothreaphy is a traditional treatment method whose effectiveness is proved in the whole world. To be used in many countries and doctor's thousands of applications to the patients every day are the evidence of its becoming useful method.

What is Dermaroller?

Skin Rejuvenation with Micro Needles

Dermal Roller, which brings a new dimension to skin care, proposes drastic solution to racks, scars and burn marks, the cellulite, acne marks, atrichiosis and wrinkles by stimulating the dermis which is lower layer of skin, with the needles placed on it.

In addition to all of these, derma roller, which is described as a solution to under eye bag and under eye bruises, insures you ease of use in the comfort of your house.

What is wart?

Warts are malignant skin bulging which emerges as a result of epidermal settlement of a virus. The viruses causing to warts are called as HPV (human papillomavirus). When your skin is cut or injured, it becomes more likely to be transmitted one of these viruses. Most of the warts are harmless but they are highly contagious because they are viral. Direct contact with the wart or to touch anything else which has been in touch with the wart may cause spread of virus. It mostly occurs on hands, fingers and feet.

Warts may occur anywhere in the body and they are generally skin colored, hard and rough. On the other hand, there are also darkly pigmented (brown, grey-black), smooth and soft types of warts. For example, plantar warts are smooth and they may be confused with callus. These types of warts may cause pain by being pushed inward during walking.

Warts may appear everyone but some people are thought to be more prone to get HPV virus that cause warts. Children, adolescents, those who bite nails, cuticles and those who have immune (body defensive mechanism) deficiency have higher risk of developing warts.

When warts occur in children, it is often witnessed that warts disappear themselves without any treatments. However, if the wart gradually increases, causes pain or disturbs the child, the child should necessarily be treated by a dermatologist.

Why does wart occur?

The virus named as HPV (human papillomavirus) is the main cause of warts. To be transmitted by this virus, which cause to wart, is easier when there is cuts or bruise on skin. When it is considered that children often hurt themselves, this explains why children commonly have wart complaints. In addition, it is likely to get warts on frequently shaved areas of the body, for example in the face of men and legs of women. The warts which are anywhere on your body may spread to another area of the body.

It is less likely to immediately get a wart by touching the wart in a person's body but it can not be said that there is no possibility. Wart viruses commonly like very wet and damp locations. For this reason, common uses of goods, which are near to moisture, such as towels or slippers facilitate the spread of warts.

On the other hand, the bodies of some people are more resistant to wart virus, the immune system protects the body and these people do not easily get wart virus. Certainly, this situation is vice versa. Those, whose body is less resistant to virus, get this virus quickly.

We said that HPV viruses cause to warts. Now let us list the situations which constitute risk of spread of the virus and the situations which may cause the virus enter our body:

·         Having allergic sensitization

·         Diseases or drugs which weaken immune system

·         Sexual contact (genital warts can easily spread through contact)

·         Skin cuts and wounds (easing the settlement of the virus)

·         Hot and wet shared environments such as: Edge of the pool, Turkish bath, spa, bath, shower, toilet,

·         Hairdressers, beauty salons which does not pay attention to hygiene

·         Hairdressers, beauty salons which does not pay attention to hygiene

·         Shared goods or things, which may have contacted to wart, such as: towels, bathrobes, slippers, shoes etc

·         Frequently shaved areas of the skin (formation of cuts and increases the possibility of getting virus)

·         Direct contact with the wart

·         Weakness of the body because of Fatigue, insomnia, stress, malnutrition, diet, anemia and similar reasons

·         Nail biting habit

Wart Treatment

Wart treatment is not directly deal with HPV virus. Treatments are only aimed at the removal of the warts on the skin. To use wart medications, which you may find in pharmacies, containing salicylic acid, to ignite ward with cautery used by doctor (electrocautery), freezing (cryotherapy), and laser treatment are among main methods to get rid of the warts. You can reach more detailed information related to warts by consulting a dermatologist.

However, a dermatologist should be consulted for the wards in the genital area instead of self-treatment methods.

Warts may occur again in some people's bodies after the treatment. The virus remains in sleep in some people after wart is removed and warts do not relapse. In the wart treatment, enhancing of the immune system should be dealt as well as eradication of warts.

What is pelade?

Pelade is a skin disease caused by fungi. Although it is associated with hair, the fungis leading to this disease may cause infections in hair, skin, nail and toes. The issue, which you especially pay attention, is to stay away from the products used by pelade patient such as comb etc. and not to use them. The pelade is examined in two separate ways as male and female. Female pelade is stronger and faster in terms of spreading than male. It can settle every area of hair and becomes permanent. On the other hand, the male one less slowly settles and its effecting areas are less than the female. Pelade disease may be seen everyone. However, it may occur more frequently and easily in children and adolescents when compared with older people. The main reason of this is that their bodies are weaker and more vulnerable.

Is the disease contagious?

This disease is contagious because it is essentially a fungal disease. It may be easily infected by both people and animals especially as a result of a contact with diseased place. If we answer the question how pelade is infected, it can be easily infected from a patient carrying infection to another body or as we mentioned before, it can be easily infected if we use the products used by the patient. It is known that the disease is infected to carrier by products which are not safety for cleanliness such as; scissors, nail scissors, knives.

What are the symptoms of the disease?

In general, the onset of disease has an appearance such as tiny phlyctaenas and pustules. It is the first and the most important among pelade symptoms. After a period of time, expansion and spread in the shape of circle may be seen in the papilla area, it begins to atrichiosis in the infected area and as the phrase goes, it begins to dominate that area. Atrichiosis is temporary in the initial phase. However, if the atrichiosis is not treaded in a short span of time, it may cause permanet baldness. The hair in the atrichiosis area begins to be thin and lost. Yellowish skin points may also rarely occur in the atrichiosis area. The corruption and changes in nails are among the complaints of ringworm of the hair occurring on nails.

How is the treatment of the disease?

Pelade is a curable skin disease thanks to treatment methods. In order to tread the pelade, firstly, infection leading fungi which causes to pelade should be eradicated. This generally fulfilled by drugs known as fungi drugs in the form powder, tablet or cream form. These types of drugs are generally applied by topical treatment which is performed by rubbing on the region carrying disease. The tablet called as Griseofulvin is the most common and preferred treatment drug. Pelade needle treatment is also among the most common treatment methods. Sprays, which include minoxidil and are used regularly, are also applied to the region. They are effective for the treatment of the pelade. On the other hand, some herbal treatments are also effective for pelade treatment. However, these solutions are definitely not as effective as drug therapy.

Psoriaris

Although the symptoms are seen in many areas of the body, they frequently occur in elbows, knees, scalp, region of the loin and nails. Rubors and sloughed in the form of psoriaris may be seen in many areas of the body. It is a curable problem.

It occurs almost 2 percent of the population. This case reveals how the disease is so often seen. It is more likely to occur at young ages. The existence of the disease in family members increases tendency to psoriasis. Additionally, psoriasis is not contagious because it is not caused by germs.

Causes and Triggers of Psoriasis

Although the reason of the disease is not certainly known, it is thought that it may develop as a result of abnormalities in the white blood cells. Inflammation occurs and the skin rash begins. Cuts, scratching which occur on the skin, may emerge as a result of excessive sunburn. It is not a microbial disease and it is not in the form of an open wound. To transmit the disease to the other people and to create any problem in their health are out of question.

The risk of psoriasis is increased by drugs which reduce the immnue system and used for such diseases as: injuries, traumas, some diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, diseases caused by microbes, throat infection) and cancer.

Apart from these, stress is an important factor. Sudden shocks, psychological disorders lead the psoriasis to become more severe. Some drugs also play role in the emergence or exacerbation of psoriasis. Besides, lack of calcium, hormonal effects are also thought to be effective in the formation of psoriasis.

Symptoms of Disease

There are various forms of psoriasis. Each of the psoriasis is not the same of the other one. It may show different characteristics in children, adults and elderly people. There are rough red colored symptoms in children. As for adults, all the symptoms of the disease are seen in them. The bulging gradually expands and crusting occurs. There may be more extensive symptoms in elderly people. The skin has been thickened.

In the skin; it is characterized by silver bulging on the pink colored limited plate. This formation is dry and in the form of spots which bleed when scraped. When you touch your skin, it is like a dust. It is frequently seen on the areas we have mentioned before. There are small cavitations on the nail surface and the nail separates from nail fold. Thicken or broken nail changes occur. Even yellowing is available. The treatment is not easy. The symptoms of the disease may also occur in armpits, genital area. In the patients with psoriasis, the possibility of arthritis is not little. In some patients, this inflammation leads to limitation of movement ability. Therefore, joint pain is among the patient’s complaints.

Guttate psoriasis: Small red bulging with crustaceans occurs in the skin. This case, which is commonly occurred in children, gradually removes itself. To occur after throat infection explains why it is seen in children.

Psoriasis Diagnosis

You should firstly be inspected by a dermatologist to be diagnosed. Disease can be diagnosed by physical examination. The diagnosis may be difficult to make although it is a rare case. In this case, the diagnosis is got as a result of the examinations performed by taking an aliquot of skin. Generally blood test is not performed.

The severity, prognosis and the place of disease give an idea about the type and treatment method. Even if it is controlled by an appropriate treatment, it is a chronic disease and affects the patient’s life.

Psoriasis Treatment

Firstly, treatment method is determined. The patient's age, life-style, the course and severity of the disease are taken into consideration for this. The aim in the treatment of this disease is to prevent the skin rash and to reduce the inflammation.

It is intended to remove pruritus and bulging on the skin by using lotion and cream. In addition, your doctor may give some drugs which will be applied to the skin. You should certainly comply with these. If the doctor finds necessary, sunlight called as phototherapy is used with these drugs. You should apply this in doctor control at the hospital. Otherwise, more sunlight may damage and increase the severity of the disease.

Phototherapy

Local phototherapy is used in the treatment of psoriasis. It is only applied to the psoriasis region and thus it is intended to remove side effect which may occur in the other skin areas. Many patients are resistant to treatment but they have a small number of psoriasis. The light used in these patients is ultraviolet B. This system is very effective in many patients and successful results are acquired. When drug or cream treatment is applied and then stopped, the disease relapses again.

In the local phototherapy, Ultraviolet B is applied to the psoriasis region for a few minutes. It is a method in which the drug use is not necessary but to speed up the healing process, creams or oral medications are applied together. Although the number of sessions varies from person to person, it is applied approximately 8-10 times. The patient continues his/her normal life even if there may be some skin redness in the applied area after the treatment. It is a widely used method in Europe in recent years.

What is urticaria?

Urticaria, which is also known as hives and allergic skin rash, especially occurs prominently in young children. The disease comes through with red marks and it disturbs with a mild itching. There are two types as acute and chronic. Short term allergy is known as acute urticaria and long term allergy is known as chronic urticaria. There are main reasons of acute urticaria such as: pets, sea products, drugs, bee sting... The body sometimes determines the disease itself, some people are delicate against drugs and vaccination or bee sting may cause a great disturbance in the body structure. Chronic urticaria is triggered by sunlight, the skin's exposure to extreme heat and allergic diseases.

What are the symptoms? Treatment Methods

It is possible to occur and spread in any area of the skin. It spreads very quickly on the body as red flakes. When exposed to the high temperatures, itching and spread are much more seen. The surfaces of some of them are in the form of pellicle and flake off. The itching especially occurs midnight and very hot area and it is so intensive that it may lead to depression. The rashes are generally in the form of papilla and small-sized, their spread time is so fast and they cause more intense disturbance when they are scratched. Drugs and creams are offered during the treatment. After the diagnosis the doctor will recommend you to use drugs depending on the severity of disease. The patient will have a more relaxed status during the continuity of drugs. The most important point that I want to warn is that the disease does not completely remove after all drugs are completely used. When you are in a very hot area or excessively consume the food leading to allergy, the disease will relapse.

Pityriasis Rosea

Rosa is sometimes also known by names such as: pityriasis rosea or rozase. Rosa is a skin disease which shows parallelism with stomach diseases occurring by the reasons such as: the symptoms stress, anxiety, menopause, sun. In the onset of the disease, a tissue similar to pimple occurs, and then this tissue turns into rash and takes the form of a red circle. Inflammatory or non-inflammatory red crests and burning sensation in the face are main symptoms of rosa, besides, it may occur simultaneously with reflux and stomach ulcers. Rosa is diagnosed by heat feeling on the face, rash, vasodilatation and inflammatory pimples. Rashes initially appear and then get lost. When the disease is progressed, it causes to a permanent image. The region where it firstly occurs is the sides of the cheeks. It may be seen all over the body when it progresses. Pityriasis Rosea commonly occurs in middle-aged and light-skinned people.

Who gets the disease?

Rosa (Pityriasis Rosea) is an exanthematous skin disease which may be seen at any age, but commonly occurs between 10-35 years of age. The rash may continue several weeks or a year. Generally, the disease does not leave ant permanent scar but, brindle spots, which regresses in time, may remain in the dark skinned people. The removal period of the disease varies from one person to other. There will be no scar after the recovery of the disease. Perspiration by heat should be avoided; the doctor should be consulted by keeping the area clean and not wet.

Symptoms

Inflammatory or non-inflammatory red crests, burning sensation in the face, itching, redness, burning sensation and rash in the face area, forehead, cheeks, nose and eye sides. The severity of itching may sometimes increase and from time to time the pain may be felt around the eyes.

The Treatment

Alternative Medicine Reishi mushroom, horse chestnut, taraxacum, grape seed, centella plant are the plants used in rosa disease treatment. The products, in which there are these plants, are available on the market. These plants are recommended to be used in doctor control. A modern medicine disease, which has chronic property, should be diagnosed early. No matter whatever you do or whatever you use, most of the time, the duration of disease is 2-6 months. The reason of Pityriasis Rosea is not known. The suspicious reasons that may affect the formation of disease are thought as genetcis factors, stress, parasites, bacterias. Not hot but warm baths are advised. The physical activities that will increase rash should be avoided.

Skin Resurfacing

Skin Resurfacing has employed a variety of surgical treatments methods for people’s looking younger and reducing the visible effects of aging. Face lift surgeries are the most common example of these. Consequently, face lift surgery is a serious operation and it means anesthesia, amputation of tissues, replanting, and long recovery time and infection risk. Asymmetrical, unnatural image are the other possible complications.

As a result of the fact that many candidates interested in skin rejuvenation do not prefer surgical interventions because of the reasons mentioned above, non-surgical, skin resurfacing and skin rejuvenation techniques with/without laser, which has a shorter healing process or no healing process, have been developed and their popularity has increased in recent years. Skin tightening, removal of wrinkles and removal of prolapse occurred with gravity effect are available by skin rejuvenation technologies with laser, which can make great changes in various tissues.

All of the laser devices used in skin rejuvenation and skin resurfacing send high-energy rays to the skin. These laser rays are kept by water molecules or chromophores called color-containing materials in the structure of the skin. As a result of keeping light energy by water and chromophores, energy turns into heat and destroys the skin area, which is exposed to the light, in a controlled manner, in layers. The new fresh skin tissues replace the outer layer of the skin which is badly damaged by laser shot and worn and wrinkled by effects such as sunlight and etc. Some lasers provide skin rejuvenation only by heating without destroying the texture of the skin.

At the end of the skin rejuvenation operation by laser, a significant improvement in the skin structure and appearance is provided. The skin has a younger, cleaner and pure, free from scars and skin spots, appearance. The elasticity of the skin increases with the rejuvenation by laser and wrinkles are significantly reduced.

Aesthetic Botox Treatment

Botox provides decrease in undesirable muscle movements because it provides the decrease or removal of the transmission between muscle and nerve by preventing the production of substances insuring the transmission in nerve endings. The intensive activities of mimic muscles cause wrinkles in the area such

as: in the face and neck area, especially on the forehead, between eyebrows, the area around eyes, become apparent. While the wrinkles in the area around eyes and forehead cause an older and tired expression, the lines between eyebrows cause the formation of an angry expression. A session botox treatment generally can be adequate for the removal of superficial and deep wrinkles in this area.

Aesthetic Filler (Hyaluronic Acid)

The main advantage of filling material injections is its becoming highly practical and it is applied in short periods such as averagely 15-30 minutes. It does not require general anesthesia, it can easily be applied with local anesthetic creams. There is no known side effect in addition; the results are immediately given as soon as the operation is performed. Because it does not require any special maintenance after the application, it does not adversely affect the person's social life.

Where the filling materials and botox are mostly applied?

·         The lines extending from nose, cheek and lip to the sides,

·         The lines from the edge of the lip to down,

·         The lines on the lip,

·         Cheekbone and cheek,

·         Eye contour,
