Dr. Atta G.A. Alkaznaji received his medical education and MBChB at Al Nahrain University, Iraq in 1994 and was a warded the Iraqi Board in Neurology (FICMS) by the Iraqi Commission for Medical Specialization in 2002. In 2005, Dr. Atta went to United Kingdom where he was trained in Neurosciences at Charing Cross Hospital, then in both Neurosciences and Neurological Rehabilitation at Queen’s Medical Center, Nottingham University Hospital, and Nottingham City Hospital. In addition to his medical practice at the National Hospital f or Neurology & Neurosurgery and Queen Square Hospital, London, he also attended the Pediatric Neurology Clinic at Hammersmith Hospital, UK where he handled cases of children with muscular dystrophies.

Dr. Atta began his medical career in various teaching hospitals in Iraq. Then in 2006, he moved to UAE to continue his Neurology practice in private healthcare facilities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain. I n the span of his career, he became a co-examiner and lecturer of undergraduate medical students specializing in Neurology and has participated in various conferences held in United Kingdom, Cyprus, Egypt, Morocco, Syria, Iraq, and UAE. Currently, he is a member of the Emirates Medical Association, Emirates Neurology Society, Iraqi Neurosciences Society, Iraqi Association for Epilepsy, Iraqi Neurosciences Association, and Iraq Medical Association. His field of experience covers all neurology and rehabilitation including stroke and transient ischemic attacks, epilepsy, spasticity disorders and multiple sclerosis, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
