Dr. Evelyn Panganiban-Bebars graduated as a scholar from the University of the Philippines (UP) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Preparatory Medicine in 1971 and Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1975. She received a UP-French Government scholarship for superspecialization in Neuroradiology and Interventional Vascular Radiology (Embolization) at the University of Paris VII, France in 1983. In 1979, she became the Chief Resident in Radiology at the UP-Philippine General Hospital, Philippines. A year later, she became a Consultant Radiologist in various large government and private healthcare facilities such as UP-Philippine General Hospital, Medical Center Manila, and Lung Center of the Philippines; simultaneously, a Consultant Neuroradiologist in Cardinal Santos Memorial Hospital, Chinese General Hospital, and Medical Center Manila. In 1984, Dr. Evelyn continued her medical practice in Abu Dhabi where she worked as a Consultant Radiologist, Head of Nuclear Medicine Department, then Chief of Radiology Department in a huge government hospital. Her passion for learning made her assume posts as Assistant Professor in the University of the Philippines' College of Medicine and as Foreign Assistant Lecturer in the University of Paris VII's Faculty of Medicine. To her credit, Dr. Evelyn has done over 30 lectures, paper presentations, and publications and has attended fellowships, courses, and congresses held around the world including Belgium, France, Germany, USA, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and UAE. Currently, she is a member of European Society of Radiology and of various medical boards and steering committees under the supervision of the Ministry of Health in Abu Dhabi.
