Dr. Sivaraman Letchumanan completed his BSc at University of Madras, India in 1984, his MBBS at Bharathiar University, India in 1991, and his Master of Surgery at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India in 1998. In 1999, he became a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. A year later, he became a Diplomate in National Board (General Surgery), then in 2011, he became a fellow of Robotic Surgery. In the span of his medical practice, Dr. Sivaraman had clinical attachments with hospitals in UK such as Law Hospital, Carluke and Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh; and in India such as Kasturba Hospital, Government Stanley Hospital, Government General Hospital, and PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Hospital. Currently, he is a member of Association of Surgeons of India, Association of the Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India, Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India, and Emirates Medical Association - Emirates Society of Laparo-endoscopic Surgeons.
