As Okan Culture, Training and Sports Foundation, we have been offering services for 30 years since 1986, and Okan University was offically founded in 1999.

Okan University Hospital is an hospital of Faculty of Medicine offering medical education and clinical treatment services in international standards, with its dedicated teaching staff.

Radiotherapy
VERSA HD is the latest-generation radiotherapy technology which has changed the standards in cancer treatment and made a breakthrough in certain types of tumours.
It is also able to perform 3D CONFORMAL RADIOTHERAPY, IMRT, IGRT treatments quickly and precisely in addition to SRS and SBRT treatment which be done by means of GamaKnife, CyberKnife equipment.
Thanks to the collimator structure with 5 times less leakage dose permeability, it minimizes the radiation risk to the healthy organs and has the lowest risk rates in the formation of secondary cancers, which particularly provides a significant advantage in CHILDHOOD TUMOURS.
Moreover, it has the capacity to better capture the shape of the target mass and reduce the dose amounts to be received by the healthy organs, with its 160 field shapers (MLC-Multi Leaf Collimator), which is the highest number.

PET-CT
The latest oncological diagnostic technology, Pet-CT is an imaging device consisting of a combination of positron emission tomography and computerised tomography. While it is able to distinguish between benign and malign masses, it provides crucial information on the dispersion of cancer throughout the body. The PET-CT installed at our hospital is the first 4-Ring Discovery IQ device.

Mammography
This is the most efficient imaging and diagnostic device amongst all others, which is able to detect the breast cancer earliest. The mammography device at our hospital delivers 3-D and clear image quality thanks to Contrast Spectral (CSEM) feature.

MRI
Our MRI device which technically has the most powerful infrastructure in its field, is equipped with the quietest MRI technology in brain treatments and reinforced with superior applications. successful results are achieved in imaging especially the soft tissues by means of MR, a radiation-free technique and thus numerous cancerous spots which are not detected by other methods, can be captured.
