ABOUT İMEP Estetik (OP DR İLKER MANAVBAŞI)

Born in 1971 Ankara –the Capital city - Turkey. M.D. İlker Manavbaşı completed his university education in University of Ankara, Faculty of Medicine in 1994. He has passed ‘Expertise in Medicine’ exam with a degree and has become eligible to continue his career at the department of Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Hacettepe University.

In this period he has worked as an observer physician one month in Athe University of Kuopio in Finland and one month in the University of Linköping, Sweden. After accomplishing his plastic and aesthetic surgery career education in 2001 he has worked as the supervisor of the hand surgery department of the private Iren hospital in İstanbul till 2004. Later he worked with world renowned Prof. Med. Onur Erol as a fellow and then as a partner in the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic of ONEP.

He is a specialist of functional nasal surgery, rejuvenation surgery of face, mega liposuction (removal of fat of more than 5 lt) and breast surgery.

Dr Yurdakul İlker is a member of many societies both national and International, some of which are Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon’s Society Turkey and the Rhinoplasty Society.

He has published many original articles in privileged Plastic Surgery Journals and he continues to publish more. Moreover, he is the founder head of a Plastic Surgeons’ Study Group (HABEK) in Turkey and he chairs the monthly meetings which concentrate on rhinoplasty lectures.

Dr Yurdakul İlker continues his private practice under the name of “İmep Estetik” since 2006 in İstanbul Etiler.

He speaks English. Classical music, history , philosophy, fencing, boxing, skiing are amongst his hobbies. He lives in İstanbul and father of a boy and a girl.
