M.Sc Psychologist Aslıhan Kurt, was born in 1980. She had her bachelors degree in psychology from Hacettepe Universtiy in 2002; Master of Science degree from İstanbul University Oncology Institude Psycho-Oncology Department in 2005; and Master of Fine Arts degree from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Social Sciences Institude in 2009. She has specialised training in Psychodrama and Group Therapies which is certified from Uberlingen Moreno Institute Germany in cooperation of Dr. Abdülkadir Özbek Psychodrama Institute Turkey. Between 2005- 2009 she worked in Halic Universty, Tual Counselling Center, Anadolu Health Center and Kadikoy Sifa Hospital. She had been to Houston MD Anderson Cancer Center and Toronto Princess Margeret Hospital for observing psychosocial support units. Her working areas are; psychological support for cancer patients and caregivers (psycho-oncology), art based psychodrama in cancer patients and survivors, grief therapy, physical illness / health psychology practices in adults. Ms. Kurt is a member of the Turkish Psychological Association, Istanbul Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapies Association and International Psycho-oncology Association (IPOS). She has been working in American Hospital Cancer Program since 2010.
