Dr. Vijai completed his medical graduation (M.B.B.S) from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India in 1991. Subsequently, he completed his Masters (M.D) in 1998 from the same institution. In 2004, Dr. Vijai completed his Fellowship in Neuroradiology from the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), India.

Dr. Vijai started his career in 1995 at the Command Hospitals, India as a Radiologist. In 2003, he pursued his Fellowship at the SCTIMST in India. In 2005, he had a second stint at Command Hospitals as a Neuro and Interventional Radiologist. In 2010, Dr. Vijai joined the Armed Forces Medical College, India as the Head of Department of Interventional Radiology and also was the Associate Professor, Department of Radiology and Imaging.

Dr. Vijai has more than 20 years of experience in his field.
