Dr. Selçuk Peker was born in Giresun in 1961. He graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1984. He completed his specialty at the Hacettep University School of Medicine in the Neurosurgery field in 1993. He completed fellowships in Gamma Knife radiosurgery at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He completede another fellowship in pain surgery and surgical movement disorders at Oregon Health Sciences University. In 2000 he worked at the Marmara University Department of Neurosurgery. He received his Associate Professor degree in 2005. In 2005 he worked at the Acıbadem Kozyatağı Hospital. In 2011 he received his Professor degree from Acıbadem University School of Medicine. He has been working at Koç University Hospital since 2016.
